Forum Rules

The M! Zone Forums are a place for discussion and sharing in the COCHASA community and not a public space for free expression. There are a few rules to ensure that everyone benefits in the best way possible. Posts are not moderated before they are published, but those that don't comply with the rules will be removed. Occasionally posts may be moved to a more suitable forum or topic thread so that they are easier to find or follow; please don't automatically assume your post was removed if it seems to disappear.

  • Only one account per person is permitted.
  • When registering, a valid email address has to be used. Disposable email addresses are not permitted. If found, we will remove the account in question.
  • COCHASA is about people; use your real name please. Domain names in the forum or as login names are not allowed.
  • Do not pretend to be or represent somebody else. Your account will be deleted if found to be in breach of this rule.
  • All posts must be in English.
  • Use your own words. If you wish to use the words of somebody else, quote them, citing the source. Plagiarism is unethical and illegal in many countries.
  • Do not link to any site that contains adult content, sexually oriented material or might otherwise be considered offensive. Any post containing an inappropriate link will be deleted and the poster will receive a warning.
  • Do not propose or link to any site that contains copyrighted software or materials that can be downloaded illegally.
  • Do not discuss illegal activities. Our server is hosted in the RSA and so is subject to RSA law. Please do not expose us to any unnecessary legal liability.
  • Do not abuse the Private Message system eg. to advertise or solicit work. Post in the correct forum. Abuse of the Private Message system can lead to your membership being removed.

In General:

  • Be Polite. Keep all commentary respectful, civil and courteous. Don't 'flame' or be argumentative.
  • Constructive criticism is welcome, but insults directed towards other users or the site admins will not be tolerated. Derogatory, coarse or insulting language will not be tolerated.
  • No commercial advertising is permitted. You can submit and pay for a classified advertisement to be placed in the M! Zone Marketplace, which you can refer to in the forums.
  • Any posts deemed to be advertising or spam will be removed.
  • Please settle your disputes in private. This is not the place to settle a disagreement or to be a 'wall of shame'. Any posts deemed to be of this nature will be removed.
  • M! Zone Forums are centred on the COCHASA community and complementary health matters. They are not a place to promote ideological, religious, or political matters. No racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, religious intolerance or any other prejudice is allowed. All such discussions will be deleted and the poster will receive a warning.

Failure to abide by these rules

  • May result in an editing, negative moderation or deletion of your post.
  • We reserve the right to ban abusers from the site.
  • We reserve the right to change these rules at any time.

If you feel a post violates any of these rules, please bring it to the attention of a moderator.
